Solutions / Waste Incineration
Continuous odour and gas monitoring for waste incineration plants
Bunker and tipping hall monitoring that survives dust and heat, with multi-stage alarms that protect the sensors as well as the people.
The bunker and tipping hall are the hardest environment in the plant: high dust loading, humidity close to saturation, and hydrogen sulphide that corrodes sensor inlets within months if nothing is done about it.
Two measures make the difference. The first is a sintered filter and a heated sample path, so moisture does not condense on the sensing element. The second is staged alarm logic, where the first threshold triggers increased ventilation rather than an evacuation, which keeps the plant running and reduces nuisance trips.
Around the clock coverage matters here because waste deliveries start before dawn. A monitoring gap between shifts is exactly when a bunker fan failure goes unnoticed.
