Overview

The SG is a 59 × 28 mm aluminium cylinder at about 50 g, threaded at the sensing end. Its shape is the point: it fits through a gland, into a pipe stub, or onto a UAV and robot-arm mount where a box-shaped module will not go.

Single gas channel, 500+ options, with diffusion or flow-through sampling. The aluminium body takes the knocks of a moving platform, and the gold-plated pin and socket contacts are specified for vibration and oxidation resistance.

Power is 3.3 V DC at around 2 W, with UART, RS485, WiFi or Bluetooth output.
